HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx with an AMD Ryzen 5 3550H CPU with a GTX 1050 and an 86D4 Motherboard, but it won't show that I have TPM in my device manager, PC Health Check, or HP PC Checker. Even though it's all enabled in BiOS, I can't get Windows 11. Am I missing something, do I need a TPM kit, or does my laptop just not work with TPM?

Your machine uses AMD processor. Please check Device Manager, it should have 1 item says AMD something OR simply fTPM

Regards.

Is it the AMD PSP 10.0 Device? Because Windows doesn't detect that as a TPM. Do I need to install a TPM module, or can I not do that?

I don't know what the AMD PSP 10.0 Device is.

My HP 15-ee0047nr notebook has that device too, but it also has a Trusted Platform 2.0 device listed there too.

You cannot install a TPM on a notebook motherboard.

I found a different way to get the upgrade to W11 without having to do a clean install...

How to Bypass TPM and CPU Requirements for Windows 11 Upgrade on Unsupported PC - HELLPC

I just did it yesterday and it worked fine.

You just have to accept the agreement that comes up during the upgrade process about your PC not meeting the requirements, etc., etc..

My PC got all of the W11 updates.

However, I don't know how long that will continue, or what will happen when the new build of W11 comes out next year in October.
