Thus, the bios update files provided by HP on the website are not correct. Your notebook needs other files. I would trust HP Diagnostic at this point and leave it as it is.

 

If in doubt, you can ask HP support ...

Can you provide a way to communicate with them other than the phone, such as email or direct chat, if the product warranty has expired?

If the warranty has expired, you should accept the current notebook status, because you will no longer get support.
