Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598V2AV)

My laptop specifications:
--------------------------
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600H 3.30Ghz
GPU: AMD RX6500M with 4gb vram

RAM: 16gb DDR4 3200mhz (come with only one stick Samsung 8gb 3200mhz ram so I added another Crucial 8gb 3200mhz ram).
Storage: WD PC SN810 512gb

BIOS: F.17

I am currently experiencing stuttering issues while I'm gaming. I've tested in several games such as Genshin Impact and some other 3A games. Taking Genshin Impact as an example, I believe that it's system requirement are more friendly compared to the requirements of 3A games. Additionally, I always make sure that the game is running in high performance, which will use the dGPU instead of iGPU.

The GPU usage will suddenly spikes to 99-100% and cause stuttering for around 2-3 secs and the fps will drop to 0-10 and straightly goes back to normal (60fps). This stuttering issue occurs intermittently and without a specific pattern. I used MSI afterburner to check is there any thermal throttling issue, but it seems everything is fine.

CPU usage= 10-20%
CPU temperature= 70-80 degrees

GPU usage= 60-70% and suddenly spikes to 99-100% as mentioned above
GPU temperature=60-70 degrees.

edit: for those who come across to this post, the cause of stuttering might be the instant spike of GPU hotspot temp. By using furmark to stress test the gpu, the stuttering will only appear when the GPU hotspot heat up to 100'C and to cool down, it will reduce the gpu clock speed, which caused the stutter. Solution: time to change laptop.

The stutter is now gone after I switched to Quiet Mode in Omen Gaming Hub.

Hmmm.... maybe to HP the real performance mode is Quiet Mode.
