Product: Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d0000 (2V8U4AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I got the Victus HP Laptop back in August of 2022, and It's been working fine until the issue arose a few weeks ago. Whenever it's plugged in, it starts having severe lag at random intervals that last around 5 seconds, before occurring again. It's really irritating since I have to play on battery (since it works perfectly fine unplugged), and it doesn't help that it also runs out extremely quick. This means I have to plug it in, have it lag a lot, and stop playing, which overall ruins the experience. The most I can do about this is to wait until it's on a high enough percentage to play on battery again.

 

I have also tried following other advice like updating the drivers, configuring power plan settings, troubleshooting, and even reinstalling windows, but none have seemed to work.
