My laptop is  HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0101ax  which SSD I can buy SATA or PCIe NVMe?. If anyone can guide me what will be supported by this laptop. Thanks

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports NVMe SSD's.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
