If your product is still in Warranty, submit a case to HP Support.

Open

 Product Home

  •  Enter the device type and model name of your HP product
  • Open Category Setup and User Guides
  • Find and Open the Maintenance and Service Guide
  • Search for "battery" until you find the page with the battery part number(s)
  • Make note of the part number
  •  If  HP Parts Store does not offer the battery part number for purchase, search for and purchase a compatible battery from a local merchant
  • Remove the old battery and replace it with the new.
  • Safely dispose the old battery.

Parts marked as "n/a" (or are missing from the list) are not available from HP.

Not every issue is covered under the standard Hardware Warranty.  Purchased Care Pack Warranties differ by contract.

 

HP is not a "general" repair facility: Requests for out-of-warranty repairs are usually not accepted.

 

If the problem is hardware, if your device is in Warranty, if your device is Registered, and you cannot submit your case to Support, let us know and we will forward a request.
