Replace bad or damaged battery
If your product is still in Warranty, submit a case to HP Support.

Product not in Warranty,
Open
- Enter the device type and model name of your HP product
- Open Category Setup and User Guides
- Find and Open the Maintenance and Service Guide
- Search for "battery" until you find the page with the battery part number(s)
- Make note of the part number
- If HP Parts Store does not offer the battery part number for purchase, search for and purchase a compatible battery from a local merchant
- Remove the old battery and replace it with the new.
- Safely dispose the old battery.
