Hello, I just really want to know if i can use my laptop while charging? Because my uncle who has an acer predator helios 300 that was made in 2017 said i shouldnt use mine while charging because it will become just like his, the battery life will be cut short, or worse the battery would get swollen. So i really want to know if this is true even if we use different laptop brands and the difference in when it was made i recently just bought mine 12 days ago but i think this laptop was made in 2024 and his was made in 2017. Thank you! (ps. i use my laptop for gaming and planning on using it for programming)

Hi:

Yes, you can use your notebook while the battery is charging but you should not leave the notebook connected to A/C power 24/7 with the battery in a constant 100% charge state or that may lead to battery swelling.
