Hi , I recently got a HP pavillion gaming laptop that shipped with windows 10 home. However I want to upgrade it to windows 10 pro as I know that I have a windows 10 pro license linked to my microsoft account.
I don't have a physical copy of the key so I have to rely on my Microsoft account for the activation
Can anyone tell me How to upgrade to windows 10 pro so that the microsoft account can detect it and use the key linked ??
Thank you

If you purchased Microsoft 10 Pro then Microsoft has a copy of your purchase.
HP does not have the information - and the new computer does not likely have that information.
You need to get help from Microsoft Support
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to switch your region / language
Select a topic. For example, select "Activate Windows"
