Hello rootakki14.
High temperatures when pushing your system to its limits are to be expected. You can call it a problem if, during normal use, the CPU throttles (lowers its performance) to cool down thus having an impact on gaming and other cpu/gpu intensive tasks. Laptop manufacturers don't really use the best possible cooling solutions/thermal paste on their products -even their gaming rigs. You could get better temps if you repasted with a better (than the factory fitted) paste, or even better changed it for one of the newer solutions: phase change materials for example. You can read this very informative discussion and post by NonSequitur777 EXPERT Level 13: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Can-i-change-thermal-paste-to-....

Yes, these readings are also what one would expect from this Ryzen 4600H Gaming laptop.
The Austrians at Notebookcheck reviewed a brand new laptop of this series with the 4800H CPU, and got similar temperatures.

As mentioned in my previous post, to get a cooler system you should replace the thermal paste...... This is a '20s laptop model so I'm assuming you've had it for some time now. Especially on Gaming laptops thermal paste quickly becomes less effective.

* If CPU utilization during gaming is constantly that low and the temps are that high, your CPU could be thermal throttling....in which case it's imperative to change the paste.

Hellothanks for reply , the thing is i know gaming laptop increase temperature but it should be lower than 95 c , when am running cinebench r23 the temperature is going to 99-100 and not going any lower like its staying at 99 c temperature i know 100% usage means high temperature but high temperature in omen should be below 95 c right? can you agree with me on this
because i had laptop for quite some time however i still have warranty , can heatsink be a problem?
when im playing game the max temperature was spike to 103 and got Yes on hwinfo throttle

Hi!
I can agree with you on anything you want. Personally, I consider a CPU temp over 60°C as volcano hot. That's why I either undervolt, power limit, or a combination of the two when it comes to my laptops. But then again I don't game on laptops. I buy HP Business laptops and mostly work with them, or do work-related stuff. The little gaming I do, I do it on Desktop systems I have put together myself. To me, gaming on laptops makes as much sense as taking an electric bicyle to a drag race.
HP Omen Gaming laptops are designed to run hot. According to this Official HP document, up to 104°C is considered normal for your laptop/CPU....
Anything above that will initiate CPU throttling. If, as you say, you still have an active warranty, you can take it to a HP authorized Service Center and have the repaste done there. Sometimes the heatsink itself does sustain physical damage from the extreme temperatures and has to be replaced, but we ARE talking about metal, so this is the least probable thing. I think that what you need is ANY kind of fresh thermal interface material. This can be done inside HP, outside HP, or even by yourself. The important thing is that it gets done. Start with replacing the heat sink compound and if you still have high temp problems THEN you can explore other causes.

Hello again thanks for detail explanation i get it 105 max temperature it can take but when am playing game its always always reaching max 103 like in hw info the max it reached ofcourse it stayed 88-95 but i dont remember if omen was always like this
i got it re pasted recently by hp guy but i think he didnt do great job so i asked again and heatsink could be issue since its 5 year old laptop but hp told me they can try to replace heatsink as well
on cinebench r23 with cpu 100 load it staying 99 not going down even with max fans

HP authorized Service has to go by the book.
On the one hand this is good if you want to keep your warranty intact. On the other, neither the materials nor the techniques they use can be called cutting-edge. I seriously doubt the heatsink is to blame. I understand your problem. Your Omen gets too hot. You can take it back to HP again and see what they do with it. If all else fails, you'll have to take the plunge and go outside official HP to get a better thermal compound and paste job....
To see what I mean, take a look at this very interesting video (watched it a few days ago) of the brand new Omen 16 MAX repasted with liquid metal and fitted with phase change material:
