Hi @Aleks7777
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Accessing the advanced BIOS settings on your HP OMEN 15-ek1010ur (3B4R5EA) can be a bit tricky, as HP typically hides the "Advanced" tab in consumer models.
However, there are a few methods that have worked for other users:
Method 1: Boot Manager Shortcut
This method is reported to unlock the hidden Advanced tab on some HP laptops:
- Restart your laptop.
- Press Esc repeatedly as it boots to open the Startup Menu.
- From the Startup Menu, press F9 to enter Boot Manager.
- While on the Boot Manager screen, press Ctrl + F1, then immediately press F10.
- This may launch the BIOS Setup Utility with the Advanced tab visible.
Note: Timing is key. If it doesn’t work the first time, try again with slightly different timing between the key presses.
Method 2: Esc + F10 + A Combo
Some HP Pavilion and OMEN users have had success with this alternate sequence:
- Power off your laptop completely.
- Turn it on and tap Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.
- Press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
- While in BIOS, press the A key once. This may reveal the Advanced tab.
Important Caveats
- These methods are unofficial and not guaranteed across all HP models.
- HP locks advanced BIOS features on many consumer devices to prevent accidental misconfiguration.
- If you're trying to adjust thermal profiles, fan curves, or undervolt settings, consider using OMEN Gaming Hub or third-party tools like ThrottleStop or Intel XTU (with caution).
