I came across your post about the HP OMEN Control issue, and wanted to help!

 

Try uninstalling the program and reinstalling it using the Windows Update, or HP Support Assistant.  You can also find drivers for your product here:

Drivers - HP OMEN Notebook - 15-5010nr (ENERGY STAR)
