Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error 0xA00F4244 typically means that Windows cannot detect your camera.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help resolve the Camera App error code 0xA00F4244 on your Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000:

Confirm Camera is Enabled in Settings

  • Press Windows + I → Privacy & SecurityCamera
  • Ensure Camera access and Let apps access your camera are both turned ON

Check Device Manager

  • Press Windows + X → Device Manager
  • Expand Cameras or Imaging Devices
    • If you see your camera, right-click → Enable device (if disabled)
    • If not listed, click View > Show hidden devices
    • Still missing? Proceed to reinstall drivers.

Reinstall or Update Camera Driver

  • Visit the official HP drivers page for your model: Official HP® Support
  • Download and install the latest camera driver or HP Universal Camera Driver if available.
  • Alternatively, in Device Manager:
    • Right-click your camera → Uninstall device
    • Restart your laptop to auto-reinstall the driver.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

BIOS Check (Advanced)

  • Restart your laptop and press Esc repeatedly → Enter BIOS (F10)
  • Look for Device Security or Built-in Device Options
  • Ensure Integrated Camera is enabled

I hope this helps.
