Hi @Eldawly
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I hear your concern — it can be disappointing when the Performance mode option doesn’t show up in OMEN Gaming Hub, especially since it directly affects system performance.
Let’s go step by step to narrow this down and hopefully get it back for you:
1. Confirm System Model & Power Plan
Not all HP laptops have the Performance mode in OMEN Gaming Hub. Some models only support ECO, Quiet, and Default modes.
Please check your laptop model number (usually on the bottom of the laptop or in System Information).
In Windows, make sure you are set to Best Performance in the Windows Power slider:
Click the battery icon in the taskbar → drag the slider to Best Performance.
2. Update OMEN Gaming Hub & Services
Even though you reinstalled, sometimes the OMEN SDK/Services need to be fully refreshed.
Open Apps & Features → uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub and OMEN Gaming Hub Services.
Reboot your system.
Reinstall the latest version from the Microsoft Store:
Download OMEN Gaming Hub – Microsoft Store
3. Check BIOS & Drivers
Since you already updated BIOS:
Update your chipset and graphics drivers from the HP Support site for your model:
HP Software and Driver Downloads
Outdated drivers can cause OMEN Gaming Hub to hide some features.
4. Verify Omen Performance Control Service is Running
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager → go to Services.
Look for OMEN Performance Control Service.
If it’s stopped, right-click and choose Start.
5. Use Windows Game Mode
While troubleshooting, enable Game Mode in Windows:
Open Settings → Gaming → Game Mode → turn On.
If after these steps you still only see ECO, Quiet, and Default, it may mean that your specific laptop model does not support Performance mode through OMEN Gaming Hub. Some models (especially non-OMEN Pavilion Gaming or Envy x360 models) are limited to the three modes shown in your screenshot.
Would you like me to check your exact model number against HP’s support list to confirm if Performance mode should appear for your laptop?
If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution! ✅ It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
