My BRAND NEW, 13 day old laptop suddenly stopped working in the middle of a YouTube video. All I do on this laptop is play 2 games and watch YouTube. When everything froze I held down the power button 5-10 seconds until it turned off. When I turned it back on it said it was diagnosing and repairing, then said

ir was on able to. I’ve tried every option aside from restoring to factory settings which I really don’t want to do. I even tried resetting with keeping my files and event that says there’s a problem

Update! Upon referral of some friends I went ahead and tried to restore to factory settings and guess what?! Even that failed!!!

Two options.

1. If its new enough, check with the store you purchased from to see if you can do an exchange.

or

2. Contact HP Support directly for a warranty issue. They will need to do repairs/replace parts.

It has a 15 day return policy. Today is day 14 now. Once I wake up I’m taking it in (I work 3rd shift so it’s a rush to get anything done.)
