Hai team recently I purchased my laptop in India from HP store (Rajahmundry) , i did not verified my laptop warranty in store as it is open from box , when I reached home I checked the warranty of the laptop to my surprise it is showing as it already started from 13th / July 2021 , I just brought the laptop from store on 8th January 2022 , how could this laptop warranty starts from 13th July, and this also showing me that it is HP care extended warranty which through small search I got to know as it is taken after standard warranty got expires , can some one please look into this and provide me a solution , I brought this laptop specially to get genuine product from HP , but still i got some problem with the warranty .  I had my invoice with me , i can provide my serial number as well if requested .

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to update the warranty, I am glad to assist you.

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here

And still, if you are unable to update the warranty,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

Cheers.
