I’m having issues with adding my phone number to my HP account. When I try to add it I get an error stating that it’s in use already but it’s not on my account. So I have tried to login with my phone number and it gives and error no account found. How can I get this fixed?

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with adding your phone number to your HP account. I would request you to please follow the steps:

 

Check Phone Number Usage

  • Ensure that the phone number is not already associated with another HP account. If it is, you might need to unlink it from that account before adding it to a new one.

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

  • Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve account-related errors.

Use Incognito Mode

  • Try accessing your HP account using a browser's incognito or private mode.

HP Account Recovery:

  • Try using any possible email addresses or older credentials to check for another account that might have registered the same phone number.
  • Visit the HP sign-in page and use the “Forgot User ID or Password” option to recover potential accounts.

Alternate Verification Method

  • If your phone number is causing issues, you may try adding or verifying your account using an alternative method
  • Such as an email verification or other authentication methods provided by HP.
