Hi I got a second hand HP 2700 printer and was informed by HP Smart that I cannot print until i enroll the catridges. While I was also told that the printer has already been enrolled by another account. I cannot get in touch with people who sold me the printer. What shall I do to using the printer under current situation?

Hi @Ponyrunrun,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like the printer you purchased has been enrolled in HP's Instant Ink program by the previous owner, and you're unable to print until it's properly enrolled in your own account. Here's what you can do to resolve the situation:
Reset the Printer: Some HP printers have an option to perform a factory reset, which clears all previous settings including any Instant Ink enrollment. Check your printer's manual or HP's support website to see if your model supports this feature and how to perform it.
Check for Firmware Updates: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, HP releases firmware updates that address issues related to Instant Ink enrollment and usage. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or HP's support website.
Remove and Reinstall Cartridges: If possible, remove the cartridges from the printer and reinstall them. Sometimes, simply reseating the cartridges can prompt the printer to recognize them as new and allow you to print.
Use Regular Ink Cartridges: If you're unable to resolve the Instant Ink enrollment issue, you can try using regular ink cartridges instead. This will allow you to print without being enrolled in the Instant Ink program, although you'll need to purchase ink cartridges separately.
Please connect with the previous owner and make sure the instant ink account is cancelled. You can use genuine HP ink cartrdiges without any subscription.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
