Facebook is, of course, Facebook - the software is not native to the computer, nor is Facebook native to Microsoft Windows.

That said, being able to log in would (I think) require either a self-contained software package that runs in Windows OR a supporting Web Browser if the interface is run through your browser.

Where is source of the problem?

No idea - I have never used Facebook.

That said, social media accounts run either as described (in a self-contained UI environment) or in a browser.

So, the issue is likely

  • In your account hierarchy where FB might be saving "bits" of itself.
  • In the browser - Cookies, for example, are stored in the browser.
  • In the browser files located in the computer - where the browser might be storing data for running the browser.
  • In Facebook - that is, "something" in Facebook is balking at accepting your login request.

None of these are a computer brand problem though a couple of the weird things that happen might be attributed to the way FB interacts with Windows.  That interaction does not make it a Windows problem.

Try a different Browser.

and / or

Back up, then uninstall the browser > restart the computer / log in > Download / Install the browser > configure using your backups.

What else?

Check with the people who support the Browser.

What else?

Make sure the browser is running its latest version.

At this writing, latest version appears to be Version 91.0.864.67 (Official build) (64-bit)

Clear the browser cache / cookies.

Looks like Chromium Edge stores cookies in Settings > Cookies and site permissions

Reference

Download the new Microsoft Edge based on Chromium

What else?

Search for what others have done to fix this type of issue.

For example, open your favorite search engine and search for cannot log into Facebook cookies
