Hi,
if I cancel my instant ink in middle of the month can I switch the ink cartridges to my own that I bought? Or do I need to wait until the end of the billing period?

@Mardana, Welcome to HP Support Community!
You can cancel the Instant Ink Subscription at any given point of time. The Instant Ink cartridges will work with the printer until the end of the billing cycle or you can also choose to replace them with the regular ink cartridges.
Refer to the document HP Instant Ink - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service for complete details on the cancellation.

@JTS36 Did you refer to the document HP Instant Ink - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service for the details on the cancellation as mentioned by the response to the OP? If not, please do.
Once it's cancelled, the shipment will stop as well, unless, there's something specific you need, in which case, please elaborate on what is it that you need and I'll help, accordingly.
