Hi, I'm experiencing the same cartridge error described below with my HP Envy 7134 and also completed all the troubleshooting tips to no avail. ... disconnected the power cable for 60 seconds and cleaned the cartridges.  It also switches between flagging the colour cartridge and the black, although the majority of the time it is the black cartridge. I'm also getting the same message on my account suggesting I will not receive new cartridges until the problem is solved. Please can you help?

I struggled with HP on this very error for one month. I cancelled my subscription. My printer is ruined as it does not work with non-instant ink cartridges now.

I discarded my old printer/scanner. My old cartridges were working fine until I installed the instant ink. Then my old cartridges stopped working! HP help is no help, wasted more than a month dealing with them.

I have the same problem with my color cartridge.  Printer says to remove and reinstall, which I did several times to no avail.  I also tried the following things:

- Powered down and up the printer - got the same error

- Checked for updated firmware - it was up to date

- Wiped the contacts - same error

The color cartridge is not empty, I had check it a week ago.

Virtual agent says I have to replace the cartridge, but I should not have to pay for it since I am on the instant ink program.   Please help.  thanks,

Hello. I have the same problem with the black cartridge from my envy photo 6230. Since I subscribed to an instant ink plan I'm entitled to have my cartridges shipped for free, indeed one should already have been delivered to me way before i ran out of ink. For the same reason  I don't even have to buy one and that too is all but possible, Please send me a black cartridge immediately at no extra cost. Thank you.
