HP Envy 6022
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I've just purchased a HP Envy 6022 and am now trying to get the Instant Ink subscription sorted. I'm using the Smart app to go through the process. I've entered my payment details, selected my plan etc, and then it says I need to press an ePrint icon on my printer to print out a sheet with a code on it. I do not have that icon on my printer. Then it says you can go through a computer and enter the printer ip to access web services that way. I've done that, but as soon as I try to enter the Web Services menu, it asks me for a username and password. I have absolutely no idea what the password is!

Can someone help me please??

Hi @neilp1231,

We would have performed a reset on the printer to resolve the issue.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
