Hi All

I have an HP Envy 5030 on the Instant Ink programme.  I only using it infrequently (perhaps once every 4-6 weeks).

Just recently the print quality has massively reduced to the point that it is worthless.  I have gone through all checks on the website (diagnostic pages, aligning cartridges, cleaning cartridges etc but it has not resolved the issue (the printer diagnostic page is not even readable).

I am wondering if the issue relates to not using the printer much recently.  Can anyone offer any advice on how to resolve the issue as currently it is unusable.  Unfortunately it is just outside the warranty period!

Thanks in advance

You need to print all colors at least once a week.

Get a plastic dish and put 1/4" of hot water in it.
Remove the cartridge(s) and put the print nozzle down into the water.
Let it soak for five minutes, then remove and clean the contacts with a lint free wipe.  (coffee filter)
Put it back in the printer and run a cleaning cycle.
