How do I get a faulty instant ink cartridge replaced?

 

My tri-Color instant ink cartridge is reporting an error. I’ve gone through the steps of cleaning the contacts on the standard support site, but it’s still not working. So it seems the cartridge itself is faulty. So I need instant ink to send me a replacement. The virtual assistant isn’t any help with this.

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen.    The phone support is generally open during normal business hours.

This reponse isnt helpful. Whatsapp messages are not responded to by a human and the phoning option rarely seems available.

I did not suggest Whatsapp, I do not use it.   Have you tried calling during normal business hours?  In the US I have called several times with support without issues.  In my timezone (PST) I believe the hours are 6A-6P M-F or perhaps Monday through Saturday.  

 

As an alternative you might try the method suggested by UK user @Nicki10  in the post here, which said:

I went onto Virtual Agent and typed 'Where is my ink?'

After a couple of questions it allowed me to request a shipment of ink.

Hopefully switching the cartridges will do the trick, as nothing else has worked.
