Hi I bought a new printer which offered a 2 month trial but have been unsuccessful in activating it. I keep trying to print the info page with the code but now I've ran out of ink! I've tried to set up the web services without any success nothing works been trying to sort it out for a couple of weeks and got nowhere. Now I need to go a buy some more ink! something this simple should not be such an effort, why can't there be a code in the box?

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

I have found a wonderful document which should help you with this issue - HP Printers - Cannot Connect to Web Services

In this document, please ensure you follow the steps 2, 3, 5 & 6.

Also try to remove web services and then re-enable web services, most of the time it works.

Here are few important Links - HP Printers - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink

Here's another document - please follow step 2 and 3. HP Printers - Setting Up an HP Connected Account

Step 2: Turn on Web Services - Printers without a touchscreen or LCD display

Step 3: Obtain the printer claim code
