I have had this printer a few weeks now, bought it new, and been using fine, it has instant ink cartridges inside.
All of a sudden I get an error message about the black cartridge saying “cartridge problem Remove and reinstall indicated cartridge making sure correctly installed. If message continues, replace indicated cartridge “.
I tried another non- instant ink cartridge but it said I couldn’t use it. I've tried the diagnostic steps but it didn’t work.
I need advise ASAP please as I have urgent items I need to print.

Just to update, I was sent another instant ink cartridge, which I installed, and then the printer worked fine.

Have you checked you HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.
If the suggested information can't be found, please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
