Just one more step. We need to connect your HP printer to HP Instant Ink.

Then HP App Opens up:

And... this happens... Error Code UA_400_EB000U0410

My internet connection is just fine and VPN is disabled

This is an HP Hardware Support issue. not a

"consumer doesn't get it issue"

Unable to register the printer to your account

We might be experiencing a technical issue.

Select Get Support for assistance and to resolve this issue.

In the meantime, make sure your printer is powered on and your mobile device or computer and printer are connected to the Internet.

Error Code UA_400_EB000U0410Save this code if contacting HP Support.

None of the "Fixes" for this issue work.... And I wish the community would "STOP" telling people to go through these unnecessary steps when they don't have anything to do with "unsupported hardware" for instant
Yeah..... Im gonna need y'all to stop wasting peoples time and educate yourselves better... STOP DOING THAT  .....Yo!

I have already seen both of those links... I have done all of that.... FYI... I already informed you that those steps were taken

I will not pay money to call support for a machine that works just fine all except to register for automated mailing of ink and paper... And... And... Even being a second hand printer.. there should be protocols put in place so that the "consumers" can resolve the issue themselves... This is just another 'money grab ' from HP greedy Arschlöchern..  cmon HP make this possible without sucking more finances out of people that already legally own their 2cd hand components

I've notified our Community Moderators of your concerns.

Should there be a response, look for the agent to leave a message here before using any other methods to contact you.

Perhaps consider contacting HP Instant Ink Support directly.

Yeah, but --

Unfortunately, I cannot make this into a "self help" fix --

Those of us who do not work for HP do not -- and should not - have access to your private information.

HP Instant Ink Support does not charge you for clearing your second hand printer so it can be used.

At least in my region, even the phone contact / call is free (no charge).

HP Instant Ink Support - Website

Change Country / Region as needed

Scroll down to find phone and other contact information

The printer might be a victim of "Dump and Run" -- that is, the original owner subscribed to Instant Ink, did not cancel the service, did not remove the Instant Ink cartridges, and just left the problem for the next owner.

"Dump and Run" is a common practice.

You need an HP agent -- or the staff at Instant Ink Support -- to remove any private information and subscription bits that are tied to the printer.

After the printer is cleared, you can subscribe or not -- your choice.

Understood that I cannot help.

I shall withdraw, having nothing useful to add.

I live in Germany... Im American, moved here with my girlfriend March 23rd.... I used to have a 7800 ENVY and had instaink... but lost my phone yada...yada long story... got everything back except for steam acct... It was a nightmare... but since all that ....now that  the nightmare is over I have opted to start all over with a different printer and a new acct since Im in a different region anyway.... Achso!…. you were just saying?

Oh!     ....well now... it appears that Im am the Arschloch here.... But... I digress, I won't take back the greedy part cuz I feel that is kinda' true... Im glad I build my own computers and do my own PCB repairs

But how to know if it is account locked to this drucker?  I wonder about that... you are saying I can just call.  Every time I try to go to support page here in Germany it does not give me option to change in English... On my PC its fine I can translate but no option exists translating the page on my mobile phone and remain on that page.... And if I call?... And ask for Englisch Sprachen? That won't be available and will have to call back again and again till Ich kann finden menschen dem kann sprechen sie Englisch.... I don't completely know all the language yet

HP Recommended

going to instaink support selecting region... (Only gives me Belgium  in dropdown) i But not the whole entire country of Germany haha ...unglaublich but... but.... lets me select english as a language guess that's cool enough

But only an option to chat with the Virtual Assistant..... Verdammte

German is at least a European language -- The alphabet makes sense.  Smiling.

I don't speak German and I have to trust Google to translate what I read.

OK - There is no way for me to know what is going on with your printer --

my guess is that a previous owner left you "holding the bag" and the printer and account must be cleared.

Ideally, an HP Community agent will step in and can help spare you the need to translate German to English just to talk to Instant Ink Support and resolve any issues to unlock your printer.

I hope there is a solution that lets you use your printer --

and

I hope the rest of your first year in your new country is less troublesome.
