Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Can I use printer ink 64 in an HP 5740 printer. I made a mistake and should have gotten ink 62?

Also can I return the 64 wo a receipt?

@Claude6, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

If the printer uses HP 62 ink to print you cannot replace them with HP 64 ink cartridges, this will throw incompatible ink cartridge error on the printer.

 

Instead, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the cartridge replacement options.
