Will the Instant Ink cartridge still work if it has ink leftover if I cancel?

"No, none of the Instant Ink / Subscription cartridges will work after the contract is terminated."

Instant Ink cartridges should be removed from the printer.

Purchase a new set of HP ink cartridges for your printer and install them.

You never owned the Instant Ink / Subscription cartridges.

All Instant Ink cartridges, including those cartridges activated as part of the service and all Instant Ink / Subscription cartridges sent to you while the contract is active, stop working after the contract is ended.

Instant Ink cartridges can (should) be returned to HP -- the service is free.
