HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 recognized like HP OfficeJet Pro 6961

Hi all. I have bought HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 printer (SN: [edited]) but when a try to activate the instant ink service it is recognized like HP OfficeJet Pro 6961. On my country (italy) this model is not suitable for the this service.
Someone can help me?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

According to the serial number mentioned in your post, I see that you are using a HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Printer. HP OfficeJet Pro 6961 belongs to HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 series.

Try enrolling the printer to Instant Ink, refer to this document to know how.

Hi,

When I try to enrol my HP Officejet Pro 6960 printer the following screenshot is showing. (I'm sorry but I work with the Italian localization)

As you can see no options are available and the procedure stops in step 4. Message (In Italian) says that the printer is not suitable for instant ink service.

if needed I can send you a private message with my printer ID
