To print double-sided so the text doesn't flip upside down on second page, be sure to change the Page order to Front to Back.

Thanks. That may be your experience, but it wasn't mine. It's strange, I get it. Having worked in IT for over 10+ years I understand the printing order shouldn't matter, but it is my personal experience with this printer. I was just sharing my experience as a solution in case others needed it. Too bad my picture didn't upload. Supwidat?

The "page order" only changes the order that pages are printed (and thus stacked in the output tray).
If the back side is upside down when printing duplex pages make sure you select the proper "flip on long edge" or "flip on short edge" option.

Hmm... the "back side printing upside down" was a big problem a dozen years ago. I spent quite a bit of time tracking down the bug (with the help of Microsoft and HP engineers). For a while I was sending out the patch by email request, after I had sent out 4000+ copies of the patches for dozens of models I posted them in the forum. They have now been archived, and changes to the forum broke many/all of the links. You can see the original thread here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/Vista-Duplex-Solution-Back-Page-Upside-Down.... The individual links to the patches have been broken but can generally be found in the Archive board by a search here.
It will take me some time to work up my motivation to dig back into this issue, but I will plan to download the Officejet Pro 8025 driver and do some testing.
The saying "Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it" comes to mind. I guess it applies to driver developers...

Thanks for the research. It's a little mystery for sure. I didn't have this problem with our previous HP 7525 printer. I don't know if I had to download that specific driver to be to print. (I don't remember it being downloaded when I added the printer to my laptop.) I know I was prompted to download and install the HP print center, but I was unable to install it on my work (from home) laptop due to admin restrictions. I'll prompt the printer to check/download / install the latest update, but I thought it did it shortly after getting it set up.

OK, I just downloaded the Officejet Pro 8020 series driver from HP and installed it. I printed a simple word document, 2 pages with text Front on the first page and Back on the second page. Printing this in duplex mode with "flip on long edge" properly prints the page regardless of the page order settings. Changing to "flip on short edge" does [properly] print the back page upside down.
I would suggest installing the HP driver.
