I currently have an HP1363A office jet 9010. I haven't gotten it to work for months. I have tried everything required via my own support. I need help. Where are the humans who speak English that could help me? This is killing my work.
Do I need to buy a new non HP printer?
Second issue is I pay for cartridges monthly and yet never ever receive cartridges. AGain no one to assist.
What the hell are you doing?
Please assist.

Hi @MH51
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I hear your frustration—having a printer that refuses to work for months is beyond inconvenient, especially when it disrupts your workflow. Let’s tackle both issues systematically.
Issue 1: HP OfficeJet 9010 Not Working
Since you've already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, here are a few additional things to check:
Reset the Printer
- Unplug the printer from power for 60 seconds.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Turn it on and check if it responds.
Check for Firmware Updates
- HP regularly releases firmware updates that fix bugs.
- Follow HP’s official guide to update firmware here.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download HP’s diagnostic tool here to check for errors.
Check for Hardware Issues
- If the printer doesn’t respond at all, it may have a hardware failure.
- HP’s support forums discuss similar issues here.
Issue 2: HP Instant Ink Subscription Not Delivering Cartridges
When you enroll in HP Instant Ink, you pay a monthly fee to print a defined number of pages per month and not on how many ink cartridges you used.
HP Instant Ink is a subscription service that sends ink before you need it based on your printing volume and ink levels.
You might not receive ink cartridges every month. If you print many pages, you might receive multiple ink cartridges in a month.
After your first shipment, Instant Ink cartridges are sent as needed (not monthly) based on your ink or toner usage. Keep your printer connected to Wi-Fi, so your printer can tell us to send replacement cartridges before you need them.
Instant Ink cartridges have extra ink or toner, so they last longer, and shipments may not be frequent. Check ink or toner levels on your printer screen or with the HP Smart app.
