HP+. instaInk, and printing using USB

HP Recommended
Envy 6055e
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I bought an additional Envy 6055 for work that came with 6 free months of instaink. At work, I cannot set up my printer to the wifi but I can use my phone for a hotspot. I used the hot spot and set up the printer. I plan on turning the hot spot on every few days to update my account.

I can not get the printer to print using the USB cord now. How can I print using my usb?

@MLight2288, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

Instant Ink service will not work with a USB cable. The printer has to be connected to the internet for you to be able to print if the printer is enrolled in Instant Ink.

If you would like to connect the printer using a USB cable to the computer, kindly follow the steps mentioned in this document - HP printer setup (USB cable)

Use the HP Smart app to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
