Hi @hopeLess75,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

f you've replaced your old printer with a new one and want to continue using your existing HP Instant Ink subscription with the new printer, you can easily do so by updating your printer information in your HP Instant Ink account. Here are the steps to renew Instant Ink for your new printer using the existing subscription:

Install and Set Up Your New Printer:

  • Unbox and set up your new HP printer according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure it is connected to the internet and has been registered with HP.

Access Your HP Instant Ink Account:

  • Open a web browser on your computer or mobile device and go to the HP Instant Ink website (https://instantink.hpconnected.com/).
  • Sign in to your existing HP Instant Ink account using your email address and password.

Update Your Printer Information:

  • After signing in, you will see your existing printer listed under your account. To update the printer information:
    • Click on the "My Account" or "Account" tab (the name may vary depending on your region).
    • Look for an option like "Add a Printer" or "Change Printer" and click on it.

Add Your New Printer:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to add your new printer to your Instant Ink account.
  • You may need to enter the printer's serial number or claim code, which can usually be found on a sticker on the printer or in the printer's settings menu.

Confirm and Activate:

  • Review the printer details to ensure they are accurate, and confirm that the printer you added is the new one.
  • Complete the setup process, which may include selecting your desired Instant Ink plan (such as the same plan you had for the old printer).

Accept the Terms and Conditions:

  • Read and accept any terms and conditions related to the Instant Ink service.

Print a Test Page:

  • Follow any additional on-screen instructions to print a test page from your new printer to verify that it's working correctly.

Update Billing Information (if necessary):

  • If your billing information has changed since you initially set up your Instant Ink subscription, update it as needed to ensure your payments are processed correctly.

Verify Your Subscription Status:

  • Once you've successfully added your new printer and completed the setup, go to your account dashboard to verify that your subscription status shows the correct plan and ink levels.

That's it! Your existing HP Instant Ink subscription should now be associated with your new printer, and you can continue to receive ink cartridges as part of your subscription plan. Make sure to recycle or dispose of the ink cartridges from your old printer responsibly.

If you encounter any issues or have questions during the process, you can contact HP Instant Ink support for assistance. They can help you with any account or subscription-related concerns

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
