Hi @brandymcnulty3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up your HP DeskJet 2636 All-In-One Printer with Instant Ink. Setting up Instant Ink involves a few steps, and it's essential to ensure that each step is completed correctly. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and set up Instant Ink.

Verify Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. You can do this by printing a Network Configuration Page from your printer. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions.

Check Web Services Status:

  • Confirm that Web Services are enabled on your printer. You mentioned that you've enabled it, but double-check the status to make sure it's active. You can usually find this option in the printer settings or through the printer's display panel.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware. You can check for firmware updates on the HP support website. Updating firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Print an Information Page:

  • Print an information page or test page from your printer. This can help verify that the printer is functioning correctly.

Reset Web Services:

  • Try resetting the Web Services on your printer and then enable them again. This can be done through the printer settings.

Check Instant Ink Status:

  • Visit the HP Instant Ink website and log in to your account. Check if your printer is listed and if there are any issues with the Instant Ink service.

Manual Enrollment:

  • As an alternative, you can try enrolling in Instant Ink manually. On the Instant Ink website, there should be an option to add a printer manually. Follow the instructions provided.

Remember, the specific steps and options can vary slightly based on your printer model and region. If you have the printer manual or setup guide, it might provide more detailed instructions tailored to your device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
