I can't print from any software in colour.  Head alignment gives colour, copy gives colour but printouts don't.  Tried advice in forums that says remove all drivers and printers etc, and start from scratch.  Doesn't work.  Where do I go frome here, except get a new printer from epsom?  Actually contacting anyone is difficult - no phone numbers, no e-mails and no customer service.

Myu last 5 co0mputers and three printers have been HP.

My next ones won't be.

Thank you Schlomil for your advice - I will try it tomorrow and let you know the result.

By "You Lot" I do not mean the community who are all very helpful and try their best.  I am refering to a company (HP) that appear to give no method of contacting them directly - no e-mail, no phone numbers etc.  I have looked through the forums and tried several ideas that didn't work.  My problem is that I cannot even open Printing Options without getting an exception, so I do not even know if the colour option is there or not.

Understood.

I removed the comment.

If you like, leave a comment at the TKB article for the color printing results.

Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately the article didn't help.

I also tried a "Root uninstall/reinstall" as suggested by a few other people on the forum, but had the same problem.

I eventually solved it by doing a root uninstall and then installing the driver from the original disk and refusing any updates - particularly the one that is promoted as making everything easy!
