I can never connect to HP Customer Support Chat

Whenever I try to initiate a live chat with HP support, I fill out the page where I insert my phone number and a description of the issue, and when I submit that form, it loads a blank live chat page that no one ever connects to.  I can't seem to get in contact with live chat ever - it ALWAYS opens a chat window with no text, no one connects to it, I can post messages to the chat but I'm not connected to anyone.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name.

Could you elaborate on the issue for better understanding?

I sent a private message.  Here is a screenshot of the issue. 

The window will stay empty and no one will ever connect to it.  If I start a new chat the same thing happens.  If I post a message to the chat, it shows up, but no one ever connects to respond to it.  It happens on multiple computers, it happens on the HP support app on my phone, and it happens on every browser I've tried.
