This is actually caused by the Adobe Extension installed in Chrome or Edge recalling the page after the browser does.

To fix this simply click the three dots in the top right of your browser, choose "Extensions" and disable the one from Adobe.

You'll still be able to open PDF's as all browsers support PDF's these days.

Try again and you'll be able to download and view your Invoices normally.

Hi @adsfasdfad,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The HTTP Error 429 indicates that you are making too many requests to the server, and the server is unable to process them all. This error is typically associated with rate limiting, which is a measure used by websites and web services to control the number of requests a user can make within a certain time frame.

In your case, it seems that you have exceeded the allowed number of requests to download your bill for HP Smart. To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps.

  • Wait and try again later: The error might be temporary, and waiting for some time before attempting to download the bill again can resolve the issue.
  • Check your internet connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. Sometimes intermittent connectivity issues can cause problems with downloading files.
  • Clear your browser cache: If you are accessing HP Smart through a web browser, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help resolve any temporary issues that might be causing the error.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi Alden4,

I've tried solution 1 and 2 for the last two weeks, and they don't work.

I've tried solution 3 a few minutes ago and that one does'nt work either.

I just log in on hpsmart.com an go directly to the bills. I am not making too many requests.

I've been a member for the last two years and there was never a problem. This is very anoying, as I need the bill for my accountant. Is there something else I can do?

Kind regards,
