HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've needed to have my last 4 printers replaced due to printing problems. Each time I received one I managed to connect it to the internet with no trouble. But there's always a problem with Instant Ink and adding a replacement printer. I follow all the instructions yet I'm unable to print because the message I receive says "this printer must be enrolled in Instant Ink before you can print". I'm tired of spending hours online trying to get support and then when I do it's either virtual (no help at all) or a live chat where the agent has no idea how to fix the problem. I have the HP Smart app but just installed the HP app since that's what the instructions said I should use. It shows me the same thing to do as the HP Smart did so it's of no help at all. My replacement printer is connected to the internet (blue steady light), has the cartridges installed correctly, is connected by a USB to my desktop, but it is a wireless printer so I can normally print from my phone. Now I can't print anything because supposedly I'm Not Enrolled in Instant Ink! How frustrating!! If only HP had live support for those of us who are awake at night out of necessity I could have this problem solved now. But as it is live support doesn't start until I'm already in bed for the day. The virtual agent had no idea what I was talking about and told me to contact support.🙄 If only I could...
