I have plenty of ink, why does HP say I'll be charged for additional pages printed?

I am enrolled in instant ink. Ive only recieved my first ink cartridge and have plenty of ink. However, I printed my set amount of pages, so now it says Ill be charged to print more. Im confused why I am not able to print however much I want with all the ink I still have. I thought instant ink just means I pay monthly, and when levels get low they send a new one. Can someone explain this to me?

Ink is supplied when needed as part of the particular plan subscription.

Each plan is based on the number of pages in your subscribed plan and not on the amount of ink used.

Once you exceed the number of allowed pages in your plan, the plan charges for "sets of pages" as described in your Terms of Service Contract.
