Ink cartridges

Hello. I was getting low on ink in my printer so I installed an ink cartridge that had been mailed to me at some point in the past. It was a 64/303, with some other numbers too. This new cartridge was faulty and I could not print. So I put in the almost empty ink cartridge back into the printer until it ran out of ink. I have tried to communicate with HP about all of these issues but it is impossible to get a live person to speak with. Anyway, I called Office Depot to see if they had a replacement cartridge for me and was told that they did have it. I went there and bought a 64 cartridge, took it home, and it did not fit in my printer. I was too short. I tried to return it to Office Depot today and the lady said they could give me $2 to recycle it, would not give me a refund for the $37.47 that I paid on 4/7/26. Can I just return it directly to HP and get some kind of refund.? It is a full ink cartridge.

What is your printer model? Are you having issue with the black or color cartridge?  I would suspect the standard HP 64 cartridge would fit, although it may be shorter than the Insant Ink cartridge which are typically the size of XL cartridges. If you would verify what printer model and which cartridge you are using I may be able to provide some links to appropriate photos.

By the way, the HP 64/303 cartridge you have is an HP Instant Ink cartridge.  This will only work in a printer with an active HP Instant Ink subscription.
