Hi,
I received my new printer today, which is eligble for a free trial of instant ink butI did not activate instant ink as it says you only get 15 free pages and to be honest, I don't know how much I'll use anyway so don't want to commit.
Long story short: the printer came with an instant ink cartridge. Do I need to return this or subscribe to instant ink if I want to keep it, or is it a complementary cartridge?
Kind regards,
Michelle

@MichelleNicola, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
The ink cartridges that come with the printer are the setup ink cartridges required to initialize the printer. If you have got only this set of ink cartridges, you may use them to set up the printer and not enroll in Instant Ink while the printer setup. You would get an option to choose if you want to enroll or not.
And, you need not send them back to HP.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
