I need all colors of ink however in the subscription, it only ordered a few and it is saying it has now expired. I’m new to the ink subscription so I’m just confused on what’s going on

Hi @GottiGG,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Instant Ink subscription may have expired, or it only ordered certain colors based on your usage. Here’s what might be happening and how to fix it:
Possible Reasons:
- Subscription Expired: If your HP Instant Ink plan expired, you won’t receive any more cartridges, and any remaining subscription ink might not work. You may need to renew your subscription or re-enroll.
- Ink Usage Pattern: HP Instant Ink only ships ink when your printer reports it's running low. If some colors weren’t low when your last shipment was sent, they may not have been included.
- Billing Issue: If your payment method wasn’t processed, your subscription may have paused, preventing new ink orders.
- Printer Not Reporting Properly: If your printer isn’t correctly communicating ink levels to HP, it might not have triggered the shipment.
What You Can Do:
Check Subscription Status
- Go to HP Instant Ink and sign in.
- Check if your plan is active or expired.
- If expired, try renewing or updating payment information.
Manually Order Ink (If Needed)
- If you need ink immediately, you can buy HP ink cartridges from a store, but your printer may not recognize them if your subscription is expired.
Check Printer Connection to HP
- Go to your printer’s touchscreen:
- Tap Settings > HP Instant Ink (or Web Services)
- Make sure the printer is connected to the internet.
- If not, reconnect it and check for updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
