Instant Ink Cartridge printing blurry

Wow - trying to get help is like trying to get blood out of a stone! 😠


My black instant ink cartridge, which I have just replaced (it's probably about the third one I've used) is printing blurry. 

I've been in to the print quality tool box and done ALL the recommended printing/cleaning etc several times and the print quality report still comes out blurry. My color cartridge is printing fine. 


I've tried to get in touch with a virtual agent but it seems like I'll be waiting forever. 


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
