Like many others. I am also having the same problem. Struggling to get into contact with HP support!

Today (3/31) I received replacement cartridges for my instant ink cartridges that appeared to be defective.  Unfortunately, they didn't resolve the issue.  I give HP credit for doing what they said they would do -- shipping replacements via FedEx  5 days from the time I originally posted my problem -- 5 days from the time an HP representative responded to the original post.

2 things to learn here.    I posted my original concern in an existing thread and it didn't get noticed for several days.  After it was and I responded to the private request for add'l information, it still took 5 days to get to me.  Clearly a long time without a printer  during this shut in.

For those of you in a similar position to me, the key observation is that some of the cartridges in the printer work, others not so much.  It could have been a defective cartridge, but in my case it appears to be a clogged print head.  You can find a print head cleaner kit on Amazon for $15 or so and several helpful videos on Utube illustrating how to do the job yourself.

I am having the same issue and can not get anyone to respond.  This has not been the problem in the past.  This is ridiculous HP.  Please reach out to me or I will be cancelling my LONG time instant ink account.

I have the same problem with color cartridge, I follow the suggests of virtual agent but nothing works. Every time I have to print I must first uninstall and reinstall the cartridge.

Same issue. I've used the Envy 5052 twice in the over a year I've had it. So I still have the carts it shipped with, no Instant Ink subscription. Black doesn't work, colour is faded. You gave us all lemons. Ship me another, since we're all under stay at home orders.
