I have the same exact problem with my color cartridge I received thru the HP ink replenishment program. In order to get printer to print at all, I had to put the old, empty color cartridge back in for now and the black cartridge prints. It's impossible to reach anyone for support. Virtual assistant is useless. I was then directed to join this forum and a message would be sent to my inbox on how to fix this issue. There is no message. Upon reading another post, I will try the suggestion to clean a possible clogged print head(as shown on youtube)with a cleaner kit purchased from Amazon.

As mentioned in my previous post, I had to go through the process of cleaning the head on the HP inkjet multiple times. The kit I purchased on Amazon came with a syringe that was all plastic. The second time I cleaned the head, I heated the 7 ml of fluid in the syringe in the microwave for about 10 seconds. When I pulled it out, the fluid was hot -- not boiling but definately hot. Between the hot cleaning fluid and increased volume of fluid (7 ml instead of 2 or 3), the head cleared. It made a big mess in the printer. Be sure you put sufficient paper towel beneath the print head to absorb all the excess fluid.
