Have an error message saying the Instant Ink colour cartridge is not communicating with the printer. Have been online and found suggestions and tried them all. Such as restarting the printer, reinserting the cartridge, power drain etc. Even  virtual assistant and print and scan doctor have not solved the problem. Have now tried 2 brand new colour cartridges supplied by Instant Ink but still have the same problem. Software and firmware are both up to date.

The printer will not function while the colour cartridge remains in place, but is happy to print in black and white once the colour cartridge is removed.

Is the printer faulty? Its out of warranty but only 3 years old and only done a moderate amount of printing. Help!

Since you have already tried all the troubleshooting and also tried with new instant ink cartridges, to fix this issue, you will need additional support from our internal teams in HP. For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.
