Hi, 

I reset my printer back to factory settings 2 nights ago as it was in an error state and since then I cannot get my Instant Ink to work. The printer status window says that the ink needs enrolled which it is. I went onto settings via the printer IP address and it says that Instant Ink is disabled. I’ve tried resetting the printer, web services and router and nothing seems to fix it. It’s an Envy 5030.

To assist better -

  1. Are you trying to connect your printer to your home network and public network?
  2. What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
  3. I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?

Hi, I'm trying to connect the printer to my home network.  The wireless light on the printer is completely steady.  I'm using a Sky Hub so it uses both 2.4Ghz and 5.

I have the same problem after carrying out a factory reset my printer shows that it is connected and I have verified this by sending a email to my eprint account

After doing a factory reset and using new instant ink cartridges it fixed the problem it was because it thinks you are using different cartridges and this is why instant ink is diabled.
