HP appropriates a lot of my time to solve problems it creates! latest: notice that I have exceeded yesterday say the page use for my instant ink supply exceeds whatever ration. How can that be if I still have one totally unused box and another partially used box sent by HP. As this does not make sense, I cancelled the instant ink. I was immediately prevented from use of the newly inserted remaining inkjet inside the printer. So, I replaced it with purchase from Staples. That leaves me with a lot of, otherwise very expensive, HP ink that I cannot use. So. I called, went online and tried to find an address where to send this stuff for a refund - all without success but with a huge waste of time. So, I am sending all that to the HP HQ, expecting HP will reimburse me for the unused/unusable product it has charged me. My personal use time is limited. HP should not misappropriate it like this and should fairly compensate me for having taken so much of my time.

Thank you. I appreciate your information below. However, your Big Brother was still holding on to my printer, even after I had removed all the 'Instant In', soi I ended up removing and replacing the very expensive ink purchases I have made/ Also, am i going to get a refund for the boxes of unused Instant Ink, please? Other than this I have no new questions about Instant Ink and HOPE that your tech support will not try to persuade me to get back into that mess.

Hi @Guity,
Thank you for your response. Here are steps you can take to resolve the issue and use your printer without HP Instant Ink:
Check Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure that the cartridge you purchased locally is compatible with your specific HP printer model. Verify this information by checking the printer's manual or visiting the official HP website.
Reset the Printer: Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 1-2 minutes to allow the printer to fully power down. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes help in clearing error messages.
Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Visit the official HP support website, enter your printer model, and download and install any available firmware updates. Firmware updates can sometimes address compatibility issues. CLick Here
Hp instant ink : As its a paper-based subscription not an ink based subscription, the plan is to provide you a set of number of pages to print every month and is charged for the same, the ink is not sent every month but only when it is low.
Pages not used in a month is carried forward and you can check the rollover number of pages in your instant ink account.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
