As Paolo says, https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-Instant-Ink/Instant-Ink-free-plan-registration/m-p/7794863#M12742

I've same problem: I just bought my new printer. This comes with an offer of 2 month trial included, but I want to subscribe from the beginning the free plan. I am absoulutely fine with the free plan. Everytime I select free plan and go through the process, at the end it is converted in a payment plan. How can I reject the free 2 month trial and go right away for the free plan ? I know this is an option I can select only at the beginning.

Before to buy I checked the list of printers that can partecipate to the HP Instant ink program, and the OfficeJet 8010 series is included, no limit in free plan, Even reading carefully the terms and general conditions, nothing is said about this. I buought HP printer because has this plan, I think I print 20 page/mounth, so free plan is perfect for me

I can't even remember the number of HP printers which I have purchased over the years. I never expected HP to be running a bait and switch scam. I specifically bought my HP printer, because they offered free printing for up to 15 pages a month. After I activated my printer, I got a message the next week saying that the plan was ending. Now, it is too late for me to return my printer, and the reason me purchasing the printer is gone. I am truly disappointed with HP.
