Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Used HP smart app on computer to apply for 1 month trial of instant ink and then a monthly plan . Went through whole process and had a red statement that there was a problem in completing the process please advise.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Let's restore the network settings on the Printer: Press and hold the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

 

Once done, try connecting the Printer to the Wi-Fi again and then try completing the process.

Sorry thanks didn't help. I think the problem is that I bought the printer as a refurbished unit and when I print off for the Instant ink code it shows the printer registered to a previous email. I have tried a factory reset a couple of times to remove the email but no luck, I think when I apply for instant ink it would need to be my email to match up all the details . Is there an easy way to completely delete the other email and register it to me.       HP Deskjet Plus 4100 series.
